I'm beginning to lose my patience. Are there any other Junies out there that still have not been verified. Every week that I call AMCAS, they tell me wait one more week. I shouldnt waste the long distance anymore. later all.

I submitted June 28 and am still waiting. If it wasn't for my work paying for my weekly AMCAS calls I wouldn't even bother...all they tell you is "Wow, you should've been verified by now! Let me forward this to my surpervisor so that you can get processed by the end of the week." That was two and a half weeks ago

I hear you. I submitted June 30 and still no verification. I haven't even bothered calling because as I can tell from reading posts on this board, it would be to no avail. Oh well, perhaps this is another test to see how much torture we can take before being thrown over the edge!

Very interesting idea...I have called about my transcripts and after waiting the traditional hour for a real live person, he finally assured me that they did indeed have my transcripts. I've also called about 5 other times...bottom line I am so sick and tired of spending 3 hours trying to make a phone call. E-mail is an even bigger joke...it took 3 weeeks for a reply and the reply wasn't even addressing the question I had asked! The frustration never ends.

If you have red x's then congrats, you are on your way to verification. I think, but by no means have i experienced this, that when amcas verfies you you will recieve an email.

Submitted June 30. No verification. No red X's. Nothing. I have called many times to try to get some action on my app but they tell me different lies each time. A few days ago I talked with a supervisor and it was so depressing. He was just as stupid and as big a lier as anyone else. The excuses he was making for their incompetence were just ridiculous. He was expecting me to understand!!!! Why are they getting away with this???!!!

for anyone who hasn't been verified

you should definitely request to speak to a supervisor...I did that, and only after 3 weeks did it get verified..

the specialists are there to shut people up
