First time I've needed to bury to the hub a 150mm RF cannulae for C2/3 TON radiofrequency neurotomy. I've done his lumbar spine in the past too and had to use 200mm cannulae, and since he's put on weight don't think I will be able to repeat the lumbar RF. Is there any cannulae made longer than 200mm? Maybe I could use a thoracool probe with a perpendicular to MB approach...should reach...

I just did a bipolar lesion here as I did not see the risk of making overlapping lesions was worth the tissue trauma (very difficult needle passage through his particular tissues).

Patient refused IV sedation too.

Oh, the joys of obesity in America! I have had to resort to 7" Tuohy needles for cervical epidural placement on one patient... America has a 35% (and growing) obesity rate.

What type of insurance did Jabba the Hut have?

I never used a 5" needle for a cervical procedure my entire time in the northeast during fellowship. It's not uncommon now that I'm practicing in NW IN!
