Too Early for an Update Letter? Is it worth it?

Is it too early for pre-II update letters? On my app I put that I am a TA for a class but since the summer I have been promoted to actually teach the class as a student-professor. Would this be worth updating schools on? Just trying to get those II any way I can!

At least wait until you've taught the class for a few months. By then you'll have other interesting things to relate in the same update, maybe new grades and added volunteer hours, for example.
