I took my MCAT on September 4th. I got a 25 (11, 6, 8). My first MCAT was a 23 (8,7,8) on May 28th. I have received secondary apps from Michigan State and Wayne State. Is it worth filling out the secondaries? Does my score, especially the 6 in verbal, hurt my chances? Is it too late for those scores to have a solid chance?

Let me know what you guys think.

You must be from Michigan if Wayne sent you a secondary with a 6 in VR (though your other scores are solid, especially that 11). The fact that they screen their applications means they like what they see from your application so far. I would submit it. I just submitted mine a few days ago...I also took the MCAT in September. As far as MSU, they don't screen and I am just wondering why you didn't submit it earlier?

Edit: It just occurred to me that both MSU and Wayne seem to use a semi-rolling admissions policy and the timing of your application has very little bearing.
