It is not too late. Especially this year, I would feel fine adding schools up until September 30. Good luck with the application process.

You'll be at a slight to moderate disadvantage at schools you apply to now, but if you're a competitive applicant, it won't matter. I didn't submit my secondary to the medical school I currently attend until October.

Some schools haven't even started sending interview invites out while some of the low yields have booked interviews into the new year already. For some you're on-time, for others you might be late (I'm looking at you Tulane). So I'd say just add them and get them out ASAP if you're already committed to applying this cycle.
