Hello, I just started filling out my application and am taking the august mcat. I will only get a chance to ask for recommendations in the fall, when I get back to school. Do you think I will still be able to be competitive in the application process?

    WELCOME TO SDN!!! :D

When is the start of your fall quarter?

People have experience difference things in the app process. But one thing is for certain, the later you apply, the worst your chances get.... Not to say it's not possible.

Depending on your credentials and if everything else falls into place, make sure you get that letter quickly enough, then you have a fighting chance.
