Too Late??

I just took the may 11 mcat. I plan on submitting my applications within the next month or 2, which may be before I get my scores returned depending on how much free time I get. If I'm not happy, I plan to retake but i'm wondering if taking the september 8th one is too late. I mean it's only a couple weeks after the august one. The issue is i will have to drive to another state if take it in august vs. one hour away if i retake in september. Will the September score be okay for the application? or am i risking too much? ahh what do i doooo...
