Do you guys believe that students from top 50 universities make better score in MCAT than others ?

Not really. If there was any correlation I would say that it is not so much because of the university's influence, but the fact that people that get into top 50 schools probably do better on standardized tests and are more motivated (I am not saying this is true of all students at top 50 schools and that everyone else is a slacker (like me)). I attend a small university that few people know of but I still did well on my mcat, but this is obviously just a single case. So, I am curious to hear the arguement of those that vote that univeristy does make a difference as I only see it from my point of view.

Take two polls online here:

First: Did you go to a top 25 school? If yes, what was your MCAT score:

a) >40
b)35-39
c)33-34
d)31-32
e)29-30
f))<28

Second poll:
Did you go to a school that was not ranked in the top 50? If yes, what was your MCAT score:

a) >40
b)35-39
c)33-34
d)31-32
e)29-30
f))<28

The only problem, people will screw with the data because they think it is funny. but, it might be worth a try.

Wont matter, you wont get enough statistically significant data to make a corellation either way.
