top academic research residencies?

Hi everyone, I'm an USMG MD/PhD student (nearing the end!) and have mostly focused on a future in radiology, but am starting to think that psychiatry could be significantly more interesting from a research perspective.

Could someone suggest a list of the top 5-10 residency programs for those interested in academic research?

In particular, I am most interested in DTI, the hippocampus and fMRI. Also, I would actually prefer programs that at least expose you to psychoanalysis as well.

Most of the ivy league places are very heavily into research, as well as Pittsburgh, and Johns Hopkins. However, no programs will totally neglect psychotherapy training.

UCLA, Univ of Wisconsin and Vanderbilt all do research in Diffusor tensor imaging and language functional MRI.
