I am a thrid year and am planning on going into Ophtho. Having searched the web and reviewed this site, I have found most of the info regarding residency program evaluations are mostly geared to training in IM, peds, anesthesiology, and radiology. Medschool.com did have a forum for ophtho, but alas that is no more. Thus, now there is very little residency info on ophtho and the other surgical subspecialties. I am trying to determine what the good training programs in ophthomology are. I am hoping to go to a program that has great teaching and mentoring, plenty of hands on experiences to learn by doing with guidance of course, a friendly atmosphere, great research opportunities, and good stats for getting future fellowships in the subspecialty fields of ophtho. So if there are any of you who are interested in ophtho or are in ophtho right now out there, please send some thoughts this way. -Thanks

Yeah, I checked scutwork and over 90 percent of the programs are not rated yet.

Wow! that link is amazing. Does anyone know if they have similar links for other subspecialities, like ENT?
