How much heat is needed to raise the temperature of 160g of water from 18.8 degree C to 37 degree C (specific heat of water is 4.184 J/g(degree C).
Answer: 12.2 kJ
Wouldn't this be 12.2 J since the grams and degress cancel out?

I have another question though - Gen Chem Q #65 Test 1

What is the expression for the solubility constant, Ksp for BaCl2?

Answer - A : [Ba2+][Cl2-]

I thought is is [Ba2+][Cl-]^2

for KSP its only ion products....

go over that chapter in your chem book, it's very important to know

Hmm, yeah i think topscore gave the wrong answer there. this is apart of a problem in the destroyer that has a very similar common ion effect (problem #82).
