could any one help me out and give answers to some of the questions here in dental anatomy
1.In saggital plane each of the following is a factor in determing superior contact border movements except one
1 steepness of articuar eminence
2 variation between cr discrepancy
3 lingual morphology of maxillary anterior teeth
4 sleepness of cuspal inclines of posterior tooth
5amount of vertical and horizontal overlap of anterior teeth

2.is marginal ridge prominent more on maxillary central or lateral incisor

3.in intercuspal position cusp of carabelli opposes __________of mand tooth

4.which premolar has only one pulp horn

5.which lies distal to mesilingual fossa in max canine

6.each of the following effects ridge and groove direction except one
1.intercondylar distance
2 .immediate lateral translation
3.steepness of articular eminence
4.distance of tooth from rotating condyle

hi...
the answer to the
1. - steepness of articular eminance
2. - i think its lateral... need to be confirmed
3. - depending on the options... i think it should oppose the mesiobuccal cusp of mand first molar
4. - again answer depends on the options avalable...max first will definately have 2 RC..... max 2nd can have 1 or 2
mand 1st usually ahs one , can have 2
mand 2nd .. may be 1 or 2
5. - q isnt clear
6. -
7. -
8.- mand protusion movements
9. - inner inclines of non supporting
10.- inferior lateral pterygoid helpd in protusion( working together) and latertal movements when working alone
supeior lateral pterygoid - mainly used in mastication,.. used in power stroke....
if the only option given is the one uve mentioned then inferior lateral pterygoid is also active in opening the mouth ....
11.. i think its vertical

hope this helps.. its been a while since i touched DA.....

1 steepness of articuar eminence
2 variation between cr discrepancy
3 lingual morphology of maxillary anterior teeth
4 sleepness of cuspal inclines of posterior tooth
5amount of vertical and horizontal overlap of anterior teeth

I think is number 1 )

2.is marginal ridge prominent more on maxillary central or lateral incisor
Lateral incisor

3.in intercuspal position cusp of carabelli opposes __________of mand tooth

4.which premolar has only one pulp horn
Mandibular first premolar

5.which lies distal to mesilingual fossa in max canine

6.each of the following effects ridge and groove direction except one
1.intercondylar distance
2 .immediate lateral translation
3.steepness of articular eminence
4.distance of tooth from rotating condyle
5.distance of tooth from mid saggital plane

No sure

7.which fossa of max 1st molar is linear in shape
1distal 2.mesial 3.central 4.distolingual 5.mesial triangular
Answer 1) distal

8.which of the following occurs when ml cusp of max 2nd molar moves posteriorly through central groove of mand 2nd molar
1.direct lateral excursion to right
2.direct lateral excursion to left
3.mandibular movements in protusive directions
4lateral protusive excursion to right
5.lateral protusive excursion to left
Number3)

9.the working pathway of ml cusp of maxillary 1st molar contacts with which inclines of mand 1st molar
1.outer incline of non supporting
2.inner inclines of supporting
3.inner inclines of non supporting
4.outer inclines of supporting
Answer 3)

10.which elevates or closes mandible--inferior or superior lateral pterygoid
Both! If I have to choose I think is inferior

11.which describes the proper axial inclination of palatal root of maxillary 2nd molar--1.vertical
2.mesial and lingual
3.mesial and facial
4.distal and facial
5.distal and lingual

5)Distal LIngual

I am not sure in some of them ,so I didn't answer
Correct me if I am wrong
