I have an acceptance to Touro California, and am looking forward to living out there come medical school. However, after looking at the match list of this school, I have noticed that most students get placed into family medicine or internal medicine residences, while I am more interested in pursuing emergency medicine, anesthesiology, or OB/GYN. Compared to Touro NY where I am waitlisted, I have noticed that students get placed in a more variety of specialties. I’m curious if the students at Touro-Ca get placed in those specialties because it is their preference, or because it is only where they are able to get in. Because of this, I’m not sure if I should go to Touro NY if I get off the waitlist, even though I want to go to school in California. Any insight would be appreciated
