I recently began studying for the MCAT and am using TPR 2nd ed. 2016, which is a huge book with all subjects in it. Is the TPR 7 book box set significantly different, or is it the same texts divided into separate books? If they differ, is one better than the other?
I'd also like to know if TPR is a good choice for me. I've recently completed chemistry, biology, cell bio, biochem and genetics.....but I've never taken physics, not even in high school. So when I get around to physics I'll need a book that starts from scratch.
Also, I've been considering investing in the Kaplan 7-book set, but I got the TPR all-in-one from a public library, so if it is just as good as Kaplan (or better) I'll stick with it. So far I've finished TPR biochem, which was quite thorough, although a lot of the practice questions seemed to rely on material not presented in the text....so that's a bit disconcerting.
