So TPR has a list of Hydrolysis of salts,
I get the general concept, but I don't know if this is something worthy to be memorized.
These ions will create acidic solutions because they are "stronger acids than water"
NH4+, BE2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Al3+, Cr3+, Fe3+.... however Group 1 and larger group 2 ions do not react with water.
am I suppose to just know that all the other ions will react with water to make more hydronium ions in water?
