TPR Practice MCATs (2)

Has anyone tried the book including 2 practice mcats from TPR??? I bought it and was wondering how accurate it is in measuring up to mcat difficulty? Please share your scores if you wish.

Are you talking about the book from Barnes and Noble??? I flipped through the book and it was essentially a mixture of the various passages they use for the in class compendium. I don't think it is reflective. if you need practice exams that are better please pm me and I'll give you some stuff.

In what ways are the tests not reflective?

I just think the tests are poorly written and not really reflective in terms of actual difficulty levels of the real exam. I think you are more likely to get better representation of the MCAT from the EK tests, Kaplan tests, AAMC and TPR course material. The course material, however, is graded much harder then the AAMC scales and a bit tougher, making it not as good as the AAMC and other stuff.

i took one of them last week. it seemed like typical tpr stuff.

Is there any correlation to the TPR Science Workbook and the real MCAT? It seems everyone agrees that this book has harder passages than the real MCAT. I seem to usually be around the 60-70% right on most of them.

Why is the verbal workbook horrible? Too difficult? Too easy? I'd much rather more difficult than easy simply because I may be pleasantly surprised on the real thing...at least, i hope so!

Should I purchase this book? I'm taking a full length tomorrow and have done AAMC 3-7 and Kaplan 1-5 in the summer of 04. Any advice? Looking for which practice tests to take in prep for April mcat. Planning on 8 and 9 the 2 weeks beforehand. For tomorrow its either Kaplan 6 or getting that TPR book with 2 mcats. Thoughts?

do KAPLAN 6!!!I have yet to take the tpr book tests. I got turned off by what gujudoc told me.
