Hi fellow MCAT sufferers

just wondering how closely the TPR Science Review book passages correlate to the actual MCAT exam?

I'm doing well on some passages, ok on others and completley bombing some (all sections, Bio physics orgo and Gchem)

any advice?

Thanks

take an AAMC and you'll see how YOU think they correlate

personally, i really benefited from it. the level of their easier quantitative physics/gen chem problems closely mirrors actual AAMC stuff but they dont have enough qualitative questions. you gotta mix and match TBR and TPRhyperlearning stuff IMO

I feel like they're pretty accurate. I haven't actually taken THE MCAT, but I have taken several AAMC practice exams. I think they're probably some of the best preparation out there, sans TBR.

I have been working through the EK Bio book and I personally must say that I don't think it is particularly accurate.

Our practice materials are generally more quantitative than a real MCAT but it does a great job preparing you as these are generally considered much more difficult. If you can answer our questions correctly, you should be able to answer MCAT questions correctly.
