Can any students, interns, residents provide information on the following traditional internship programs? Feel free to respond via PM if you don't feel comfortable posting here.

Bay Area Medical Center - Corpus Christi, TX

Palmetto General Hospital - Miami, FL

Northside Hospital - St. Petersburg, FL

Suncoast Hospital - Largo, FL

Maybe some NSU and TCOM students have rotated at these places.

Thank you.

Thank you.

NSU students rotate at Palmetto and Suncoast. I have heard wonderful things about both programs. Be aware that the patient population at Palmetto is ~90% Spanish speaking. Suncoast is a major osteopathic teaching institution with many residencies and fellowships. You may also want to check out Broward General hospital in Fort Lauderdale (800 beds, level 1 trauma). They currently have FP and derm residencies and will be adding IM and EM in 2008. Very strong and rigorous rotating internship.
