Training License in Pennsylvania

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knew how long it should take to get a training license? I applied in early April and have yet to hear back. Is this normal? Should I contact my program about it? They were the ones that processed the paperwork.
Try going here: http://www.licensepa.state.pa.us/

Input the parameters and search for yourself. I found myself on there just playing around before my residency let me know what my license number was. It didn't take very long, but I applied through the Osteopathic board. Not sure on timeframe for the board of medicine.

This is always the answer to this kind of question.

it can take anywhere from a few weeks (5 in my case) to a few months...the Pa website does say that after March it take much longer (due to volume)...since its only been a month, its probably not done...

I must second the poster who said to search for it yourself. That is how I and all of myincoming intern class found our PA license numbers. The system never generates notifications, it seems.

Edit: allopathic board here.

You could check in with your GME office if you feel there is a delay to make sure everything was submitted, signed, etc.
