I did two years at a SUNY School. GPA 3.59
Transferred to the university of Kentucky and finished one year: GPA 3.83, but I have an incomplete in Biochemistry.
overall science gap 3.41
Research: research assistant at a medical school in NYC for a summer. I did not do much besides watch some Ph.D. student perform experiments.
Shadowing: Emergency room physician at the hospital and a nephrologist for a summer in NYC for two summers
Work experience: I work at a gay bar in NYC but I am heterosexual.
Volunteer: habitat for humanity for a year
Extra: chemistry tutor, two separate teaching assistant positions

I haven't taken the MCAT but I plan on it either June 18th or July 9th.

I want to apply this cycle, but I am torn if I should wait a year and make myself a better applicant and get rid of my incomplete and take more science classes.

Do you think I would get in this cycle if I had a 510 or better on the MCAT (even though I will be applying in august) or should I wait a year?
