Hey all. I am a US citizen attending med school in Australia. I love it here in Australia, the school is good, and I really have no reason to head back to the States except that all my family are there. Would anyone have a list of all the schools that accept international transfers for advanced standing (read, into the third year clinical rotations)?
Thanks for the help.

Perhaps it'll be a better idea if you posted this in Allopathic, Clinical or The Lounge

I'm sure I read that Indiana University accepts transfers from foreign medical schools on a case-by-case basis. There was a proviso; you either have to be a state resident or a U.S. Citizen (which I see you are). You should check asap. The best way is to contact the schools directly. Good luck!!

Try U of Arkansas in Little Rock, they have an opening in their third year since a student jumped off a ten story building last Friday.

I feel sorry for the person whose spot he took.
