Other Transferring mid 3rd year of residency

Hello,

Is there any rule against transferring half way through you PGY3 year or start of PGY4 year? Would you finish on time or is there a rule you need to be at an institution for at least a specific time ?

In most specialties you have to train at your final institution for 2+ years.
