ill be transitioning from hospitalist medicine to outpatient medicine shortly. i've been pretty efficient as a hospitalist and a quick learner in general. usually use the EMR to my advantage (will be using the same EMR) and delegate responsibilities well to cut my time on less important things
i plan on taking it slowly the first few months so i can find a good rhythm and find ways to make my day efficient. the clinic itself is set up in a way where you are not handling menial tasks and has other perks that make it advantageous to a suitable lifestyle
what are methods or pieces of advice you have for someone like me? would also love to hear from anyone who made a similar jump and how their experience was
