Travel to NYMC

Anyone have any advice on getting from JFK to NYMC? I am leaving tomorrow for my interview on Tuesday, and I can't seem to find a good trip planner. I am staying Monday night in a hotel in the area. Any tips would be appreciated...

for someone unfamiliar with area.. from JFK grab a cab to Grand Central Station, take a train on the Harlem Line to White Plains, get a cab from White Plains to Hotel/School

expensive but easy, give yourself 2.5 hrs minimum at rush hour might not take that long depending on traffic in city and timing of express trains to White Plains
