Trevor Pharm Review Vs. His kaplan book

Hi Just wanted to find out if anyone found the Kaplan book that Trevor wrote to be a little weak in some areas. In school we used the Pharm review book written by Trevor ("Katzung and Trevors Pharmacology") . Did anyone use this book and find it to be helpful or just to much information.

Any feed back would be great.

All the pharm on my step 1 was in First Aid, there were 2 drugs that were not in First Aid but were in USMLE secret. I'm sure his stuff will help, but pharm on step 1 is pretty esay compared to the other questions (path-phys, etc..)

Katzung and Trevor Pharm Book is a very good book, I used it, it helps me a lot. I think it is the best pharm book to build a strong foundation.
