It appears that due to orgo being filled too quickly this year I'm stuck doing physics instead. So.... What parts of trig should I know to do well in physics? Like should I just know what cos and sin is or do I need to know things like Sin(2x) = 2sinxcosx? I.e identities.

Anything else that you can mention will be nice..

Btw. Algebra based physics, not calc based.

For algebra based physics, you should know how to push the sin/cos/tan button on your calculator and know SOHCAHTOA. That is all. ;)

Now, we can't forget about SHO right? You have to understand how the sin and cos curves are related what they look like as well as all the variables.

cos(pi/2-theta) = sin(theta) and sintheta2 + costheta2 = 1 are useful.
