I think its quite amusing that medical schools want this humanistic physician with a
streak
of mother theresa then turn us into these
pre-med cretins worried about a sixth of point on our cumulative GPA or a point on our
MCATs. I've already got one ulcer, how many
do you think I'll get in medical school? What
nonsense! and they wonder why they can't get
anybody to be a family practice doctor! There's no competition in it!

Number of ulcers:
Another one as a premed.

4 in medical school (3 during your first year.)

10 or so in residency (8 as an intern.)

Break out the Prilosec, Pepcid, and Helidac man, we havin a peptic party!

'99? I didn't even think SDN existed in 1999....

Also wondering what happened to OP... Probably became a doctor.

I see that nothing's changed though.

I wonder where I was on that date...
