BU is a good school, don't get me wrong. But for its price tag, I don't think its worth it (for me). They have a good endo specialty program though, which I might wanna apply to it lator on. Since you had the off-site interview, the dental school and med school are in a different location than the main BU campus. They're really a couple of multifloor buildings, I don't know, I sat in one of the classes during lecture for a few min and it just didn't click. I don't know what your stats are, but if BU is not in your top few choices and since you have interviews coming up at other good school (tufts & michigan), I would maybe not put down that BU deposit. Its a gamble, but I think the odds are in your favor. Let me know what you decide.
I got into columbia, BU, Maryland and Nova so far. I turned down the interviews at NYU, Temple, PITT, CW, and Buffalo. I'm going to Tufts for sure though in jan. I've been deciding between columbia and nova for the last month. I really liked the program/faculty/facility/relaxed enviroment at nova and their deposit was due on the first, so I paid it just to secure a spot in a place that I like. And from what I hear, they have a really good endo program there too. After my interview at Tufts, I'll evalute between Tufts (assuming I get in)/columbia/ and nova and go with one and hopefully during this time and before I have to cough up more deposit money, my #1 choice, UCLA, gives me a shot.
