Let us suppose med school is $50,000 a year (This is a VERY low approximation at most schools.) So $50,000 * 4 years = $200,000 total tuition.

    Break down:
    $961.54 a week
$136.89 a day (Including one leap year.)
    $5.70 an hour
$0.095 a minute for four years... save up those pennies!

Interesting way of looking at it. M3 and M4 will cost more, though.

I divided my undergrad tuition by the number of school days, and came up with $50/day. After that I got mad when a professor ended class 5 minutes early. Hey, I'm paying for this... you get back there and teach me something!

Most docs don't make over half a million a year. Just sayin.

How may actually pay the full tution, for example, UI Medical College? Could be just a gimmick to get more money from the state and philanthropists.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that posts on SDN correlated to the average amount of money physicians make. Thanks for enlightening me!

$960/wk now for $1000/day later is still an excellent return on your investment, and even primary care folks are making around that much.
Though I still recommend aiming higher, don't strive to be average.
    Cheers.
