Tutor???

I think getting a tutor is a great idea. My boyfriend double majored in physics and chemistry and also has a PhD in chemistry. He had never seen the MCAT before but I went over all the questions I didn't understand with him (around 20 hours maybe more). I got a 14 on the PS section (up from a 10 last august). Using a private tutor is very helpful, but the MCAT tutors are way expensive (i think kaplan charges $60+ an hour). So, try to find a PhD student in phys., chem, bio, and ochem and pay them per hour to help you go over the questions you still dont understand after going over the answer. if you put on some flyers in their respective buildings, you may be able to find someone. it is so helpful to go over the questions with someone, you will really see what traps and mistakes you keep making. good luck.
