Two BRS Path books?

Anyone know the difference in the two BRS Pathology books being sold on Amazon? One costs about $32 the other $57.Any ideas?

The $57 one may come in a set with flash cards. That is how it is packaged in our book store. You can get the just the book or the book with the flash cards. There should be a description on the web site.


Does anyone out there know if the BRS path flashcards are worth getting? I settled on just getting the book but I'm starting to wonder if I should have gotten both. Any recommendations?

I bought the flash cards and I haven't used them at all - they are really high yield, so they were not useful for course examinations. I plan on looking at them while I study for the boards, though.

Here's a tip for you if you are trying to save some cash. The path BRS can usually be found at Half-price book stores. It usually runs about $5. The difference is that it is the edition previous to the new one. The only differences are that the new one is printed on paper that makes it look smaller than it really is, and some keys printed by the parts that the brs feels are important. As far as content, the differences are very minimal and they aren't worth 30 bucks.
