Hey everyone!

Quick question on this:

How can you approximate the pH of the titration, so you know what indicator to use?

For example: strong acid/ base would have a pH of about 7

What about strong acid/ weak base, weak acid, strong base, and weak/weak?

I remember that if you have strong acid/ weak base, the pH is slightly less than 7, and if you have strong base, weak acid, it is slightly greater than 7. What would be a typical pH/ range?

Thank you as always!

From what I've noticed there isn't a typical pH ranged to have memorized for any particular titration. If you have a coursesaver account then watch the video Chad has on titrations--it contains all that you will need to know.

p.s. I've seen you post many questions on SDN virtual, you seem very smart and i'm confident you're going to score high on this test!
