Hey, I was wondering if anyone who has been put "on hold" by U. Florida has heard anything recently from the ADCOM. I'm dying to hear something!!

wat up y'all, and it don't stop, in the winter or the summertime, i mix it hot.... Florida really makes you wait. i was victim to their hold list last year. This year, thinking i'd improved my application, i come to find out i'm on "hold for interview" which the secretary (not robyn) described as "not officially hold, but pretty much." doesn't look good for Caveman

A. Caveman, how do you know you're on hold for an interview? I'm guessing there was no formal correspondence? All I got was a file complete notice months ago. I'm guessing all of us who haven't been rejected yet are on hold for an interview, or would that be too optimistic of an outlook?

I hope your right, md2be06. I'm in the same boat as you. Do you know if USF has a similar policy? They keep saying when my # comes up, I'll hear from them.....as if I've already been deemed an interview slot. Any thoughts? 🙄

I should clarify...I've already interviewed at UF, and I am now "on hold." I already got into UM so I guess I should be happy. But...I really, really like UF when I visited, so I hope they let me in soon!!

i found out that i'm basically on hold for interview , although i don't know if they'd admit they have such a category, from the secretary there (wasn't robyn). what it means is that my app will be compared with the rest that they have yet to go through, and if i'm worthy, i'll get an interview (probably VERY late), so **** uf.

Just called Robyn today. She is SUCH a cheery person all the time, and recognized me by first name though we haven't spoken in at least 3 months.

So she tells me how indeed next week is the last interview date and when I ask about 'hold status' she said "you guys on hold should be hearing starting in mid to late April."

Thought I'd pass that along since we may be getting an additional brandeis-ite in the hold boat with us. (here's hoping it's an immediate acceptance though)

Nice, USeF!!! You resurrected my thread! By the way, you should check your PMs more often, I sent you one a while ago. Have you received any good news lately? Hopefully, UF will admit us next month, we'll see...

I can not believe how long UF is going to make me wait. I interviewed with the first group on September 28th and I will not find out my status till mid april. And then to make things worst I will probably be put on the waiting list. Is there an end to this 🙁 🙁 <img border="0" alt="[Pity]" title="" src="graemlins/pity.gif" />

There you are! Haven't heard from you in a while. Yeah, hopefully we'll BOTH get into UF, and enjoy the UF gals and cheap tuition. Only time will tell...
