Did anyone get into U o f L?

I heard few good things about it on the feedback section.. just wondering if people who are planning to go there or decided not to go there have any inputs about this school!

Thanks Guys

I have been checking these forums out for a little while. I wasn't planning on posting, but I have comments on Louisville. I think that U of L is a great school. I have been accepted and that's where I'm going. I was also accepted at Marquette, Case and Indiana but I was very impressed by Louisville. Every year Louisville ranks in the top ten on part II of the boards. All the students I met with spoke very highly of the school. Everyone I've met that is familiar with the Louisville area says that it's a great place to live. The school is also one of the cheapest that I applied to. Plus their basketball team is ranked #5 and did anyone see the beating they put on #6 Cincinnati.
Go Cardinals!

Sounds like a good school.

I have an interview on Feb 2nd... apparently with 19 other students.

Anyone going to this interview?

I had an interview with Louisville and also received an offer from them in early December. I thought it was a great school and the faculty seemed great too. I would highly recommend the school to anyone. The town was nice and reasonably priced to live.

It's funny you mentioned the UofL b-ball team. On my interview, I stayed with a family friend who happens to be a huge UK fan. Well, they have all kinds of UK stuff all over their car and dropped me off at the interview in that car. I guess one of the intervieweres saw me getting out and asked me during the day if I had issues going to UofL being a UK fan. It was kinda funny since I couldn't care less about UK.

oh yeah..... if you didn't know, the UofL dental school is a different campus than the UofL undergrad campus. I asked, and the dental students said it's near impossible to get tickets to b-ball games.

I just canceled my University of Louisville interview for Jan. 26th if anyone is interested. I don't know, if you interview is later, maybe you guys can take my spot.
The reason why I canceled is not against the school, but because my 1st choice already notified me.

are there any seats left? or is it too late?
++

I called the School, and the admissions told me that the class is not filled yet - considering we are in the Last week of January, people can still get a chance to get in schools like Louisville - They have about 60 - 80 more students to interview (just guessing) - and I am one of those students.

By the way, they only interview Mondays and Fridays, 20 students are interviewed each day.

Anyone else considering this school?

I have an interview scheduled with them, but considering it's for Feb. 23 (LOL!) I seriously doubt any open slots will be left by then.

I made my interview in December, too, so I don't know why I got such a late appointment. I guess they really don't want to talk to me. 😉

Too bad...it sounds like an interesting school.

Well, its not appropriate for you to think like that now, just be positive towards your interview.

Good Luck.
