U. of Pitt. DS1....wireless laptop?

Hey Guys,

I hope all is well! Want to congratulate all of you who have started or about to start 1st year!!! I currently own a desktop and thinking about buying a pda to keep myself organized. I am debating on buying a pda or a really cheap laptop w/ WiFi. Do you think a laptop is needed (helpful) for studying at U. of Pittsburgh? I was thinking about viewing slides in color and maybe even taking notes in class....which I have never tried and wanted to know your thoughts Thanks again guys!
