Anyone interviewing at U of T or know what exactly to expect at the interview?
THE INTERVIEW IS NEARINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGgg <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" />
SO HOW WAS IT?
WELL... it was definetly different and I honestly have no idea, nor did any of the other applicants that I talked to in my group. They asked a bunch of hypothetical questions. They did not want to know anything about 'who you are', 'what you've done' or 'why you're here.' I guess they might pick that out of the answers to the '10' questions that they asked. One of the applicants told me that Canadian schools pick from the same group of standardized questions???? They interviewed every 20 minutes for 2 days... 10+ in each group... that's a lot. Did you not apply to U of T DDSDonkey?
They asked us NO hypothetical Questions at all guy... it was pure previous experienced based. Eg. "describe a situation in which u experienced dishonesty".
I was definetly not expecting it, and I don't know what they were looking for.
ER- i goto u of t dentistry
Interview was very structured. So much in fact that they had a list of questions! If you didn't answer one they ask another. They "could not" elaborate on questions when you asked them to.
