or at least in the middle-east region!?

hi,i guess for an experienced dentist working in a govt. hospital it is somewhere betwen 4-5 thousand u.s dollars a month and its tax free.in the private sector i have no idea what it is.i know this thru a friend of mine who works there.

$4-5K a month tax-free is about $7-8 before tax in the US, which is around $90-100k in the US. The average dentist in the US makes around $140-150K a year (with good experience), that about $50,000 a year difference. I thought they would pay at least the same in the US... maybe I was wrong.

I am a buckeye... not from UAE. But I heard the oppertunities for US professionals in the middle-east are good. So, far I haven't heard anything on this thread that impresses me about the US Dentists in the UAE... well, maybe the free-tax. 😉
