And unfortunately I have no control over how they decide who gets an app and who doesn't.

It's good to hear that other OOSers haven't heard either. I'm still waiting as well.

Be patient. I applied to 22 schools last year, and UAB was the last secondary I got. They take longer to get them out than a lot of other schools do. Work on your other apps, and if you are feeling really motivated, get the UAB questions here on SDN and do them so that when the secondary finally comes, you can paste and submit it right away.

P.S. Don't try to use tildes in your app; it won't support them. I learned that the hard way last year.
