UC Davis interview update

I haven't been able to access the status page for the last week and called them to check status. Turns out I have been approved for an interview. Davis is behind on scheduling so it is not unusual not to hear anything for a few weeks after you have been approved for an interview. (August MCATer, submitted AMCAS 10-4, file complete at Davis 11-19)
They told me there were a lot of people just waiting to be scheduled.

Hey congratulations! I was wondering what was going on with that status check page being down. Think I'll go give them a call now too...

I just called and it looks like I got granted an interview too. Thanks for giving me the heads up! It's too bad it's taking them so long to actually send out the invites. If I'm going to book a flight I'd rather do it sooner than later. Maybe I'll see you there whenever it is that these interviews are taking place.
