For those of you who have been invited to UCI for interview, can I ask when you submitted your secondary? Mine has been complete and pending review since 9/6/05. I'm starting to get worried. Should I be worried?

I know they are probably overwhlemed with a lot of applications but I was wondering when they're going to actually start reviewing my application. Or if pending review is code for "we're reviewing but we have seen better apps so far."

aww, i'm sorry to hear that. but at least you know. 🙂 did they tell you how long you'd be on hold for? i know GW and Tufts makes you wait til February. i'm on hold at a few schools myself *sigh*

No, I'm guessing they'll review my file again at a later time, but at least it's not a flat out rejection yet, just "you're not what we are looking for, but we'll reconsider if no one better comes along"
It sucks, that's the fifth school that put me on hold.

I was complete on 8/25 and am still "pending review." This "rolling" review process at the UCs seems so sketchy.

For what it's worth, it took me 6 weeks before I got the interview invitation notification. They take their sweet time, like all the other UCs...

Wow, this is weird - my status has changed from "pending review" to "review in progress". I was complete 9/23. Well I certainly hope that changes to "interview requested!" Good luck to everyone!

i also want to send in 1 additional letter...but i'm afraid that if i add one more letter on the letters of recommendation page, they will put me back into the "incomplete" pile, and i have to wait in line all over again? anyone knows?

ouch. sorry moto. the two things i'm dreading most are HOLDS and WAIT LISTS. i just got the shivers.
