UC schools that offer Pre-Dentistry

Okay so i'm a jr in high school but i want to narrow down my choices when choosing the universities/colleges i want to go to. So I'd like it if someone could tell me which schools in california are the best for pre-dentistry. Preferably UCs 🙂 thanks!!!

well from what i got from my thread, ucsd seems to have a good pre dental society.

UCSD is great. A bunch of people who go into dentistry also seem to go to UCDavis so i assume they have a good program. UCI I've heard is decent...but that's not one I know a lot about.

Go to the best fit UC for you and they will all be good for pre-dent.

Aren't you the same h.s student looking to go to med school? haha, you dont seem to quite know what you want to do right now which is perfectly fine.. you are a junior in high school and doing the right thing by looking now. My advice is find a general major you can fall back some example (biochemistry or biology).

If you're really serious about dentistry look at the UOP 5 6 or 7 year programs.... As for UCs unless you're willing to work really hard or you're pretty smart I would recommend staying away from them... They can be overly competitive... I know because I went to UCI... Also if you do go to a UC remember you don't have to be a biology major to go to dental school....

I graduated from UC davis, and I have to warn you that if you are plannin' on doing your prereqs there you better be very mature and motivated. Its as competative as it can get. But non the less a wonderful program that prepares you well if you can manage to get grades.
