Did anyone who interviewed 4/4 or 4/25 receive an flat-out ACCEPTANCE (not acceptance from waitlist) from UCI. It seems that maybe the class was full when these two groups were decided upon.

I interviewed April 4th and got a "flat out acceptance."

I think all medical schools were supposed to offer acceptances to fill their class by March 29th, so interviews after that were for a "full class." However, schools accept more than their number of spots so it's always possible to get a flat out acceptance after the March 29th date. 🙂

Miss Medicine, I think you will be better served by asking this question in "The Official UC Irvine Countdown Thread." In this thread, you will find that English Chick interviewed on the last day of interviews, April 25, 2002, and was offered an outright acceptance. I hope this helps!

Patiently Waiting, I suggest you contact Dr. Al Goldin. As you know, he is head of the MST Program and is very kind. In fact, I suggest you e-mail him. I was kind of in your shoes a couple months ago. I submitted my MST Program Application and had not heard anything for several months. Once I e-mail him, Dr. Goldin quickly responded with a decision. Unfortunatley, I wasn't invited for an interview.

I know nothing about the waitlist and they send a letter and call, not in that order.
