It's true. They are a great group of students. I've applied and am "pending review", according to the UCI website.
 
LOL. omg the spanish interview concept is waay to funny for words. you've gotta be pulling my chain! seriously, I know we need docs in underserved areas, but this is just plain hilarious. :laugh:

I haven't heard about this program--is it like the mission at UCLA Drew? Is it only for Spanish speakers?
 
I have a feeling that my lack of spanish speaking skills will hurt me in my attempt to be accepted at UCI. There are a lot of spanish speakers down there in So Cal and I hear UCI is big on that..
 
The Spanish needed it just basic conversational Spanish. You have to show your abilities during a special interview. The interview is not all in Spanish for the PRIME-LC, I believe they also ask you about your motivations towards entering the program. Why you think the PRIME-LC (i.e. the M.S. and clinical training more in the Latino community) will help you reach your education and future goals.

Have you been to UCI?!...I think it would help you more if you speak korean/japanese/chinese/etc...
