I called today to see if they received my application and letters of recommendation, and my application is not there. I sent it in priority mail, the same day with other applications which made it.
Did you have this happening to you?

Well, I mailed mine in like a couple of weeks ago, but it just doesn't show up on the status page. I called UCI to ask wut's going on, and they told me it could take up to seven weeks before they update my status on the website. So basically, they told me to wait seven more weeks and then call back. At this point, I'm not even sure if they received it or not.

I mailed my secondary application in this past Friday and it was listed on my status page, as received on Tuesday so I know it is there. I also mailed it through priority mail and it is there now. Good luck!

Try emailing them (they are pretty good with responding). It took several days for my app to show up as being received.

Good luck!

I e-mailed them and they have not aswered my e-mail, that's why I called.
If I resubmit my application what happens to the old check if they still get it. Do they cash both of them?

dana-doc, when did you send it? has your check been cashed?

whenever sending any mail make sure you certify it so you can get a signature...

call the school and double check in one or two days...

best

I thought that when you send it certified, since it requires signature, if there is nobody there to sign for it, then it go back to the post office.
I am so very surprised they did not get my application because I send a bunch of letters out the same day, and everyone of them got there, even the ones for schools on the east coast. I am on the west coast, so UCI is not very far from where I live. Maybe it has to do with the many California applicants or something.
