UCI Waitlistees Don't Fret

I spoke with Gayle Pierce, head of admissions over at UCI, and she said that they are being rather stringent in their acceptance process this year. They think there is a possibility that they will have to do another review of applicants before May/June when waitlistees typically get acceptances. So even if you got waitlisted at UCI, there is a chance of an acceptance in the next few weeks/months.

Does this apply to people "on hold" as well? I sure would appreciate another review by them soon.

Oh I meant on hold - I guess I got the on hold/waitlist terminology confused.
