Hi! I'm new here. I apologize if I broke any rules.

My school (UCLA) decided to change its science courses. It used to be Physics 6A, 6B, and 6C for Life Science majors and now it's Physics 5A, 5B, and 5C. I have already taken the 6 series, but got a bad grade for 6A. Now (graduated), I am at Extension trying to take 5A.

Do Med Schools care about the name of the course? It's technically the same course--just a different title to it. The school keeps saying that it's not the same thing, but when you read the description, it's basically word for word the same description.

I'm having this problem for the Life Science series as well. I completed LS 1 (Evolution), LS 2, LS 3, and LS 4 (genetics), but I want to retake LS1 because I got a poor grade. Now the new series, LS 7A, has Evolution and Genetics. Would it still fulfil my Evolution requirement if I take LS 7A?
