Does anyone know if Grad Pros residency at UCLA allows residents to place implants themselves?

Hi , I am a foreign dentist who did a 6 months preceptorship at UCLA s prostho department . The prosthodontics program is excellent but their policy s that prosthodoncists should not place implants . They are placed by oral surgey , perio , implant fellowship and AEGD residents in UCLA

wow~~ i didn't know that. I actually thought it was the opposite.
Placing implants usually is a "must "in prostho these days. that's kinda shocking..

so.. what was so great about the UCLA program?
