hey guys, so judging from stuff i've read from other topics, the d-days for ucla and ucsf should both be 2/15? or am i wrong

i interviewed at ucla mid-december and ucsf first week of january, i wonder if that is enough time, hehe... man i wish all schools were like ucsd, three weeks after the interview, and i got the "big envelope"! hehee

ps -- i'm new to posting on sdn, but i've been reading for a while tho; you guys are really cool and funny :D

Hey dude...congrats on the UC's..just wondering where else you have interviewed and what your stats were if you don't mind sharing :)

matthew! You beat me to the thread! It seems like everyone who starts one of these "it's almost D-Day for school X" threads gets into them come D-Day. That's how I was going to get that UCLA acceptance. Alas. I guess congrats are in order. :p Oh yeah, and welcome to the wonderful world of posting on SDN. :)

I think others have posted that UCLA's d-day may not be the 15th, but may actually be sooner. I also don't know about UCSF. They were about 10 days late on this last set of acceptances, so who knows...

Good luck,

Adam

wait, I heard the acceptances were mailed out around 2/15...that isnt to say, that you wont hear from them sooner, right? I mean there is a possibility of getting a rejection, right?

hey guys... thanks for the headsup, i guess i'll just wait for the mail these coming weeks <shrug>

hey scoobydoo, i don't mind sharing, i guess i don't have to ask for everybody's 'cuz they are already posted somewhere here on sdn eh? :D -- 3.9/37; besides sd, sf, and la, i've also interviewed at columbia, cornell (still waiting these 2), and nyu (accepted), i pretty much withdrew from other places hehe, it's either cali or nyc baby!

good luck all! beautiful day here in the bay area.........

Matthew,
for UCSF the D-day in january was the 23rd instead of the 15th so they're not always ontime. I think UCLA has started sending out decision letters to interviews, but I don't know if they were acceptances. Good-luck.

I'm a little confused. Does this mean all the UCLA slots will be filled by 2/15? I'm interviewing 2/14? Does this mean I'm looking at a waitlist at best? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

It means that UCLA started sending out accepts on Feb. 1st....do a status check. If you got something mailed to you on Feb. 1st then it is probably good news.
