Though I'm not 100% committed yet (probably around 95% or so), odds are VERY strong that I'll be heading to UConn in the fall! I'll be one-upping all of you in terms of geekiness/dorkiness though in that I'll be part of the DMD/PhD program there.

Have you started looking at housing yet, lilCarlton? A friend of mine at UConn has given me some good info, but I'm still a long way from figuring out apartments there.

C'mon guys! I know there's more potential/committed UConn students out there. Come show some well-deserved school spirit!

I'm hoping to live in "The Forest," and most likely I'll be on the lookout for a roommate. Trisha in the student services office told me they hope to send out a mailing with some housing information next month. Feel free to PM me, I don't know of anyone else going to UConn at this point.

Hey guys, from what I've heard the "forest" is probably the best option for first year students as most first-year dental/medical students tend to live there. Plus, the apartment complex is right across the street from the UConn health center which makes getting to school a breeze! I'm looking into some other apartments in the vicinity though and haven't yet committed.
