Hi - looking for some insight as to whether there are any great advantages to moving out of state and attending UConn instead of staying in VA and going to VCU or EVMS. Im just curious whether UConn is about the same as these VA schools just in a different state, or if its reputation precedes it. Thanks in advance 🙂

Why are you not including UVA? If you're talking reputation, I think that is probably the best in either state.

go to VCU...just my unbiased opinion 🙂

haha well that would be because they havent accepted me!

I'd consider UConn over VA schools. I'm really tired of c'ville. I got a good feeling when I visited UConn . . . I think that's what a lot of this comes down to . . . gut feeling. I think it's most people's way of throwing a lot of intangibles together. In my experience decisions made with gut as a consideration turn out better.

Live in CT and went to school at UVA. As far as VA schools go, I would only pick UVA over UConn. It's a good experience to get out of your state and experience a different region. UConn has a great atmosphere too.
